3/9/2005 - KLAS-KPHX

3/9/2005 - KLAS-KPHX
Type of Flight:
Day
Aircraft: Boeing 737-300 Southwest "Arizona One" (FFX)
Callsign: Skywest 1337

Summary: Originally filed my flight plan from Las Vegas (KLAS) to Salt Lake City (KSLC), but I got to cruise altitude, it was 2 in the morning, and I still had 280 miles to go. Too late at night for such a long trip. So I changed my destination in flight to Phoenix Sky Harbor (KPHX), and used a 4x sim-rate. Also enjoyed some rock n' roll during taxi and in-flight using Robert Clark's RadioCD4 gauge. How cool is that, to rock out to Led Zeppelin and Steve Miller Band while you fly? This flight also featured altitude callouts on final, and the fully improved AI fleet for Southwest Airlines (replacing UT's fuzzy traffic with AI Aardvark and other non-fuzzy AI paints).
